I'm reading The Wedding Quilt now and I too was surprised to find it taking place 25 years in the future. For some reason this book isn't holding my attention like the other ones did.

Hello Jeannette, I thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas tour of your home. All that sewing on display really looks so lovely. Now, a bent needle, must try that one to get a new machine. Enjoy and have fun with it.
Happy days.

Lots of pretty decorations!

Hmmmm, about the book. I am a couple behind; but that is disappointing. I'll have to try to catch up soon anyway though.

Congrats on your darling win from Michelle! Your new machine is wonderful....I had a needle bend so much one time, it looked like an upholstery needle. Never heard of one coming that way out of the package! I don't think I've read the wedding quilt yet, I too wonder what happened in between...maybe I'll wait to read it.

Your home looks so lovely and festive and welcoming - so many beautiful things you've made, I love it!

You will love the new machine! I own her sister, and they are like girlfriends for life - so much fun and always there to stitch with when you're feelin' down.
What a wonderfully festive home!!! Love it all!

Wow, this is beautiful. I saw your post before but had to come back when I really had time to look at everything. How I wish I had been doing some Christmas sewing throughout the year. I definitely will have to make that a goal in the New Year. I really love the dresden topper, especially with the embroidery! Happy Holidays!

#4 Chookshed Stitchers Challenge.

At the start of March i had this pile of blocks. I couldn't get my head around how to turn all these differing block sizes into a quilt...
