things that make me smile

Recently a friend of mine had a linen party at which she put out all this beautiful china. After asking about the teacups & telling me where they came from i just had to search for myself to add to my china collection. :) My friend now tells me she has created a monster. lol
The brown eyed Susan tennis/hostess set in the back i found at a local vintage shop & the 1 in front off eBay. I have since bought another 2 sets off eBay.

A while back on Pinterest i came across an interesting thing to hold teabags in cups. It took me a bit of searching but i found where to buy these
Party Snails. They are so cute. Here's one holding my teabag. :)

Recently i had the pleasure of meeting Tatyana. She had some of her scissor fobs with her & i really liked one of them but waited until i got home to order as i wanted a different colour cat to what Tatyana had with her.
I found this at Aldi's recently & just love it
It came filled with teabags too. :)

Happy Stitching,

My youngest, Hope, always asks for the "tennis set" for her afternoon tea even if she is drinking juice or water.
Love the canister and the snails. Very cute.

Its lovely having as collection of almost anything! but esp teacups. the snails are a clever idea - the tin is fantastic..maybe I should go to Aldi more often - but really I hate the place for regular shopping.

Gorgeous tea cup sets. I have the plate bit of a lovely wattle set. One day I might just stumble across the cup for it lol.

#4 Chookshed Stitchers Challenge.

At the start of March i had this pile of blocks. I couldn't get my head around how to turn all these differing block sizes into a quilt...
