August Stitch A Long.....

...... it's a finish. I nearly took a pass on the bag but decided to give it a go. Even after the glaringly obvious mistake when the outside was all together ready for the lining to be hand sewn in didn't deter me yesterday. Was there any swearing when i discovered what i'd done & had to unpick the whole bag? No just  "Oh crap how did i do that". Grrr. I had read the instructions several times to make sure i didn't make any mistakes but i did so there you go. Even reading doesn't help at times. :) It's not a hard bag to make just fiddly. The liner took longer to add than i expected because of the lump of plastic at the back but it's done. :)
The front,
the back. It was supposed to be pieced as well but i went with this piece of fabric.

Happy Stitching,

Good on you for doing it. It does look lovely. It is a cute little thing - perhaps too little to be a lot of use! (which is why I didn't do it)

Definitely worth it - it's darling, hon! I can't believe how many mistakes I make anymore, too much on my mind maybe? Or maybe I've lost it, lol!

#4 Chookshed Stitchers Challenge.

At the start of March i had this pile of blocks. I couldn't get my head around how to turn all these differing block sizes into a quilt...
