Last finish for March

I started to stitch this topper last year but like all things it was pushed aside. It finally made its way back to being a priority to finish. I did leave something off - the satin stitched ribbons, mine are just back stitched. As lovely as it looked on Leannes i knew i'd never finish if i did the satin stitch.

Happy Stitching,

Beautiful, I think it looks perfect without all that satin stitch.

PS ... I am doing similar work by Rosalie quinlan and also leaving out the satin stitch for the same reason!

ha ha - glad I'm not the only one avoiding satin stitch - and it catches easily too...(that's my excuse). Its a lovely pattern - well done.

That is beautiful, and I also like the backstitched ribbons rather than satinstitch. Definitely much more practical. lol.

Jeanette this is beautiful. It reminds me that I have this pattern and I must do it again for myself.

#4 Chookshed Stitchers Challenge.

At the start of March i had this pile of blocks. I couldn't get my head around how to turn all these differing block sizes into a quilt...
