Still working on my In My Garden stitcheries. This is the last of the big ones. Right from the start i've been contemplating what fabrics to use to finish this quilt. Still none the wiser now the stitcheries have nearly been finished.
It would appear, fingers crossed, that i've fixed the problem mentioned in my previous post. No help from Blogger, lot of help from li'l ole me, that made my brain ache, & a little help from my friend Shez.

My stitching week
I've been trying to get my ufo's under control & also stitcheries that have been traced out for some time. That's the handwork. Slowly succeeding. No if i could only summon the enthusiasm to sit at the machine & completely finish them.
Free stitchery from Lynette. That done i finally got back to stitching blocks from In My Garden by Natalie Bird.
Started the 2nd to last big block last night
There are 6 small ones left after that.
Now there seems to be an issue with Blogger & i've complained but have received no reply. Seems that for some blogs i comment on the blog owner isn't getting notifications so they have no idea i've commented unless they check the comment part of their blogs. I've tired changing my email attached to my blog account & it made no difference. I'm not the only one this is happening to. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

last finish for March
Yestrday i finished a little Christmas stitchery that i'd stitched earlier this year.
The Carolers by Natalie Bird. I think this makes number 9 in the series. Can't wait to see this years one.

Some finishes
I'm in a mini swap that involves cats. Yesterday i finished the required mini
made up a couple of extras
Then i traced out this cute stitchery from Jodie & stitched up last night to add to the swap package. I only trace 1 out. Jodie's pattern has 4 cats in it.

FNSI/Easter sewing March
Didn't get a lot done but i worked on a UFO. Most of the blocks were prepared years ago but for one reason or another put aside. The Adventures of Hannah & Harrington has managed to find it's way to the top of the UFO pile.
Blocks 5, 6 & 7. I did a little secret sewing too which i can't show as it's for a special quilt.
Pop over to our lovely hostess Wendy to find links to see who all joined in the extra long FNSI.

Friday Night With Friends March
My project i chose to work on last night is a UFO. I'm not sure how many years back i started it - maybe 4. It's Tail Feathers by Natalie Lymer.
I finished the applique bird plus the embroidered bird & managed to start the tree block before bedtime. This is set 7. Each large block is made up of 3 small blocks so i've 10 little blocks left & i can't remember if i've done the 4 applique birds for the corners. Time to get this UFO done & dusted though i do have older ones i should be finishing. They are all on my list & i discovered it's a bigger list than i thought.
Pop over to visit our lovely host Cheryll for the links to visit to see what everyone else got up to last night.

Gail Pan Stitching Weekend
Saturday I set off to spend a fun filled weekend with Gail. When we arrived we were greeted with this lovely package
then we spent the day stitching this lovely pattern.
I nearly got all 3 done. :) The 2 pattern cards were also included in the package.
Sunday were greeted by this beautiful package
And the day was spent stitching this gorgeous Christmas design
Gail had many of her fabulous designs on display
I won this kit that Gail generously donated
And the goodies I bought
I had the best time over the weekend in fabulous company.
Thankyou Gail for the fabulous workshop & to Maree for organising the weekend.

FNSI - February
My project of choice to work on yesterday was the first 2 blocks from The Splendid Sampler
Hearts All A Flutter by Pat Sloan.
Wings by Jane. I had chosen a range of fat 1/4's for the project but yesterday decided that i would use up my Bonnie & Camille scraps.
Last night i added a few stitches to this
The 9th Brutus. It was a free BOM several years ago by Red Brolly called Catalicious. I only had 3 left to stitch but i just put it aside & never finished it. My aim this year is to get those UFO"s finished. :)
Thankyou Wendy for being our lovely hostess again. Pop over here to find links to who all worked on projects yesterday.
