May FNSI

Yesterday i joined in FNSI hosted by the lovely Wendy.

I started my day with ironing on the transfer of Month 4 of Fig 'n' Berry's Christmas BOM. I'm running behind as i didn't even get month 3 stitched yet. :(

Next to work on was these three little Christmas hangings by Michelle of The Raspberry Rabbits
They just need to be quilted & binding added.

Next up was this set of 3 also by Michelle
The 2 felt pieces just need a hanging sleeve added, the stitchery the binding.

Then onto my Easter hanging from Gail's new book Changing Seasons
Borders added, quilted & then bound.

Lastly was the May project from Gail's Christmas BOM Merry & Bright

Covers the Moccona jar quite nicely. :)

Pop over the Wendy's blog to see who joined in & what projects they worked on.

May medallion

My medallions are made for May, 1 for me & 1 for my swap partner. It's going to be a lovely quilt when all our swaps are done. Such lovely fabrics & so far none has been doubled up by anyone.

Hearts Quilt finish

The hearts quilt has been back a little while from Fiona who did her wonderful magic with the quilting just waiting on me to bind it.. I finally found some sewjo to sit at the machine & do the binding. :)
Thankyou Fiona we love the quilting. So another UFO is done & dusted.

Still here stitching away

I've been stitching Mays blocks of the Christrmas BOM
Still working on the stitchery for the project. :).

When i saw my sister at Easter she asked if i'd make mug rugs for them in their favourite football teams colours. Nothing exciting but maybe reversible & not big. So i set out to make them like she wanted but thought that's to boring. So they ended up like this.
I didn't mean to make 8 each. It was only going to be 4 each as i was going  to back them with their reversed squares but before i knew it i'd cut plain squares out for backing so i just went with it. :) Hope my sister & BIL like them.

Now to finish binding a quilt that has been waiting a while for me to find some sewjo to sit at the machine. I've only a small section t ogo so should finish that tonight.

Happy Stitching,

FNSi March

was last night. My project was the little Christmas stitcheries i've been plodding along with. The one on the left had the satin stitch...
