Gotta love the mailman

Look what arrived today. I've been patiently waiting for these 2 patterns to arrive before i go on a fabric shopping spree. I was also fortunate that the shop i bought them from also had 2 honeybuns i was seeking. Now i can start "Tail Feathers". Aren't the fabrics so pretty. Seems a shame to cut them up.

Finishes for August

These a my 3 finishes so far for August. Unfortunately in the recent Christmas in July swap for reasons unknown a swapper missed out on receiving any gifts. So i said to the host i'd be glad to send something to her. This is what i made & sent. Also shown is the hand made Christmas card. I've not done embroidered cards before. The little needle case is a Rosalie Quinlan pattern which i bought a while back & have been eager to make. The little bag is a Bareroots design. I've had this pattern a while so was glad of an excuse to make one up. So quick & easy.

Hugs,

Patterns - oooo this means a fabric shopping spree. :)

Look what arrived in the mail today. My 3 Bronwyn Hayes patterns. All wrapped up nicely in pink tissue paper. I bought them from The Quilters Angel. 2 are Christmas patterns & the other is hot pads with Gingham Girls appliqued on them. How could i resist. So yes a shopping excursion to buy fabrics is definately in order. I really should use my new camera for photo's but for some reason my new computer doesn't like it. Doesn't like anything really. Have to seek & find things.

still here

I've been a bit slack lately. To many personal dramas happening last month. Just realised i'd only posted on my blog once last month. I have been sewing though just not as much as i should have been. So no finishes for the OPAM. :(. Hopefully this month i will. Sorry about the small picture. I decided to buy Natalies wonderful new patterns "Tail Feathers". Been buying a few patterns actually. Bronwyn Hayes has 3 new ones out & of course i had to have them. Natalie Ross has released her new "a Ladybirds Seranade" so i addded that to my collection. Now to find time to sew them because i've also joined in many swaps in the coming months.
