Something is.....

 wrong with this picture.

This should be a finished top. :( 

I had got to the last row & looking at the red sashing i wondered why i had 2 spare strips instead of the one i knew i would have. I counted up the blocks & found i only had 5 not 6. Did i drop it or miss it when trimming up yesterday?  Upon looking at a photo of the finished top i discovered that i didn't have block 20 at all & for some reason i didn't print it when i received it(unless it's mixed up with other patterns). Sadly it was on the desktop which my daughter uses & she took all my stuff off & put it on a USB that unfortunately corrupted & my stuff was lost. As this pattern came out years ago i don't even have the original emails. Now to wait on the designer to get back to me about a replacement pattern.

 Seems like every time i make a step forward with my ufo's i take 3 steps back. Ah well onto another UFO. :)

It's A Redwork Christmas.....

 ......is a flimsy. yay. 

& just after taking photo's with my camera that didn't turn out, i had to then use my phone (time for a new camera) the cat appears & i said "no photo bombing". So she sat right down before i could pick up the top. :)

RSC March

 As i'm in a sewing mood i decide to get my RSC blocks done. :)

This challenge doesn't seem to making a dent in my scraps though. lol

FNwF march

Yesterday was FNwF & i started early. Last November i had appliqued pears to make a small wall hanging & i was about to make it up when i had my accident. Fast forward to yesterday & I chose that project to finish.

The morning saw it put together & the evening the binding sewn down & some hand quilting around the pears.

After that i pulled out "It's A Redwork Christmas" By Rosalie Quinlan Designs. I had 4 blocks to trim back & despite reading the cutting directions i became a bit dyslexic & cut 1 block wrong so it will have to be restitched. :(  3 blocks now have borders. 

It's going to be a large quilt when done.
