I had planned to get lots of things done for FNSI but unfortunately things didn't pan out. All i did was trace this stitchery out & start it.
I don't normally use a hoop but a fellow blogger mentioned the one she uses & as my osteo is causing me some issues i thought i'd try this hoop out to see if it helps me any. Its just 4 pieces of rounded plastic clipped together & then 4 pieces of curved half pieces of plastic over these to hold your fabric.
Last Wednesday i finished this bag
It's made from Papillon charm squares. On Friday another parcel arrived from Michelle. Always so nicely wrapped.
Here's Bella inspecting the parcel in case it's anything for her
Silly cat it's nothing for you. It's all for me.
Felt, threads & hanger for Michelle's Folk Art Christmas Tree, candy & extra felt. Thanks Michelle & the Fuzzies.
Bella sure has grown since we got her & is still not her full size yet. :)
Sleepy Kitty.

FNSI November
Not sure how it got to be the 3rd Friday of the month yesterday but it was. Friday was a busy one for me. I made 10 more blocks for Ladder ...

Yesterday was the last FNwF hosted by Cheryll for 2023. How did it get here so fast ? And now it's just a few more days until Christma...
That stitchery is so pretty, and I LOVE that bag, so soft and feminine! Good job. Can't wait to see Shell's pattern done, you make things so fast, girl!
ReplyDeleteAny amount of finish is in my books good finish.I look forward to seeing your progress on the stitchery you've started :) Barb.
ReplyDeleteJeanette I'm sorry the osteo is holding you back, & I hope the frame might give you some help, nice design too!
ReplyDeleteThe bag is lovely, well done, it looks like a good size.
please let me know what you think of with the frame Jeanette, lovely bag, well done.xx
ReplyDeleteYour stitchery basket is going to be beautiful! Sometimes it takes longer to get prepared, doesn't it! I'll be watching to see your work on it. Great job for FNSI!
ReplyDeleteThe tracing is often the tiresome part of an embroidery project so now it's done, you're all set! Bella is certainly a beautiful cat, just like her name :-)
ReplyDeleteYouv'e made a gorgeous bag and I hope that your new hoop makes things a lot easier for you too. The design you drew up is beautiful too.
ReplyDeleteThe square hoop looks excellent. With the round ones I often have to reposition to get to the corners of a stitchery.
ReplyDeleteLovely bag and enjoy your goodies.
The stitchery is going to be so lovely. And those frames are great, I have a rectangle one- so easy to clip and adjust. I hope it helps you too. The bag is so soft and pretty.
ReplyDeleteHope you find the hoop works for you so that you can keep on stitching. Lovely stitchery...bet you can't wait to start.
ReplyDeleteI love a good crafty blog, yours is lovely and I will be back later to see more. I especially like the bag you made and that kitty is just plain cute!!
