The two Christmas decorations that have been a kit for a few years & I'd prepped a few weeks back have now been completed. 1 kit down dozens to go. 😊😊.

Quirky little quilt

This weeks little blocks for the quirky little quilt sew along is birds in the air.

As there is only 1 more week of blocks I'd better find some background fabric in my stash.

Yesterday i joined in with 17 lovely ladies for Friday Night with Friends. Thankyou Cheryll for hosting us. Pop over here to find links to what projects were worked on.

I started reasonably early. My first project was to put the borders on my finished April stitcheries for Merry & Bright bom

Next project was to make the project up that Gail gives us each month with these patterns

The inside. Now to find a notepad to put into it.

Next i cut out 7 ironed on all the felt pieces to these cute little stocking ornaments.

Another kit ready to sew. Not sure how long i've had this one but my son bought it for me for Christmas. It was maybe 7 years ago. :)

I'd started sewing down the felt on these on these little hangings Thursday night.

This one needed to holly & berries stitched.

This one the red pieces & the holly & berries.

And this one needed all of it to be stitched.

By the time i put the last stitch in i was ready for bed. :)

Yesterday i put together the medallions for this month swap. I wanted to get them out of the way early. :)

The hexagons are more green than the photo is showing.

This morning on the Martingale page on Instagram i saw that the next blocks for the quirky quilt had been posted. This week it is 9 patches.
