Yay i finally managed a Friday of sewing. Thankyou to Wendy for hosting us again
I started the day with a some what boring chore, taking up a pair of pants for my daughter. The pants took ages as they were kind of a wrap around like a skirt so each leg was quite wide in the hem area & stretchy fabric too. Other things happened after that so i didn't get back to any sewing until evening.
I'd joined Joy in her Christmas in July stitchalong. I was behind having only completed one stitchery by the time Joy had given us the 3rd design. So last evening i sat & stitched numbers 2 & 3.
Here is all 3 together ready for when Joy shows us on Monday how she put them together
Lovely simple designs that were quick to stitch together. Thanks Joy
Pop over to visit Wendy to find the links to who joined in last night & what projects they worked on.
Happy Stitching,

Sweet baubles stitchery Jeanette.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, I remember days of mending children's clothing. With just the hubs and me, we don't have those issues anymore. Lovely stitcheries too. Isn't it a good feeling to be caught up?
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Christmas embroideries.
ReplyDeleteCute cute stitcheries!!!! I don't alter garments - not unless the family is prepared to buy new ones when I screw them up, lol!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Christmas baubles are lovely....they may happen ...one day...
ReplyDeleteYou did well keeping up with the ornaments!! I hate mending and altering... I usually put it off, and put it off, and... until the person grows out of the garment or forgets they own it... :P xx
