Coffin quilt

The last few weeks I've made myself sit & sew my coffin quilt & i put the last shape on last night. Now to decide whether or not to fill in the spaces on the top, bottom & sides with EPP or just applique straight onto border fabric.
It fits nicely on my queen bed & comes already prepared with obligatory quilty cat. 🤣🤣.

There is 1495 coffin shapes in the top & i've tried not to double up any pieces. There are ones that have same pattern but different colours.
Time for a new project I think. Well at least catch up on this months Christmas BOM's before October's arrive or even this months medallions. 😊😊.

Happy Stitching,

I have loved watching you stitch all these together Jeanette. Isn't that wonderful that the quilt comes complete with a cat!! Just beautiful - I look forward to seeing how you finish it.

WOW Jeanette thats a big quilt and no doubles, nice to think some of my fabrics could be in there....

That's an amazing effort... so much work in it and especially with making sure you only use the same fabric once...

Oh my word Jeanette! Your coffin quilt is a stunner wow! An no repeat fabrics is quite a feat, I'm in awe. There is a heck of a lot of stitching & hours gone into that, I do hope you are satisfied with your result!

Golly. This a project of perseverance and devotion! How great that you've kept piecing enough to make a queen-sized quilt. That's quite impressive. I guess we can deduce that you like handwork! :-)
