September Chookshed Challenge number is ....

 .....

That means turning all my EPP projects into tops. They don't have a lot to finish them off. :)

The one on the left end is finished just need to be quilted, the purple one appliqued onto borders. The next one the borders are added in a way that i don't care for so i need to think on how i will add the borders. The 2nd last (queen size coffin quilt) needs fillers along edges & the end one needs to be trimmed along the sides so i can add borders. Cross fingers they'll all be done by September end. Thanks again Deanna for keeping us on track to get those pesky ufo's moved along. :)

Chookshed stitchers challenge August #3

 The tops are made. I went from this

Then working out a plan i found i needed 2 extra blocks. Those made & 120 6" tone on tone squares cut i could then make tops. :)

I finished this yesterday. I had started Monday but plans had to change as i was helping my brother with last minute things as he's moving house.

Today saw this top done.

They both measure 66" x 66".

Bag making.

 A while back my sister asked me to make her a bag. I'd made her one back in 2015 which she loves. Nothing wrong with it but she'd love a new one. Then tells me she has gotten fussy about colours ect as she has got older. Luckily we were chatting on messenger as i nearly fell off my chair laughing. She has always been fussy/particular. :) :)

Yesterday i finally got around to making it. :)

Fabric is from 2 ranges, Regency Sussex & Regency Somerset Blues by Christopher Wilson Tate. Hopefully my sister likes it.

FNSI August

 My FNSI evening, hosted by Wendy, was spent prepping 1/2" hexies for the hexie diamonds i've been making. It was also a Zoom evening which was really lovely.

8 little piles ready to sew. It doesn't seem to be making a dent in my scraps though. :) :)

 A nice early start to FNwF  i made up the remaining 12 blocks for last years RSC. Now to plan the tops.
