I started with making applique pears
moved onto crazy log cabinand then onto simple nine patchHappy Stitching,Did i need to make a new start? No but i did seeing as this panel arrived yesterday. :) I'm using the dreaded lame thread seeing as i bought 4 skeins & only used 1-1/2 on the last large panel.
2 baubles done & started on the bowThankyou Wendy for hosting us again this year.Although Cheryll is now only hosting FNSI on Facebook now i'll still do a post on here. Project of choice was the large Sashiko panel. I've only the deer laying down & a few snowflakes left.
i stitched around he antlers, around the head & made a start on the bells before bed called me i was trying to take a photo this morning & apparently i needed a photobomber. :)Yesterday i finally managed to make it to a Zoom stitching day. :) :) It was so lovely to catch up with the lovely ladies. My stitching project was a rather large sashiko panel had started before Christmas.
I stitched across the bottom, a branch beside the deer i had missed, the eye & started the tree in the middle. I am using this thread
It has a lovely sparkle to it with the silver thread but sadly it's a curse to work with. I didn't know how much thread i would need so i bought 4 to be on the safe side but 2 would've been enough as i haven't even finished the first one yet. Ah well i have 2 more sashiko panels coming so i can use them on those.I've joined the rainbow scrap challenge again this year &for January the colour is blue.
