Baking Day

Sunday now seems to be my baking day for the week. Somehow i'd ended up with a pile of overripe banana's again. So out came the recipe books. I did find a recipe a few days ago online for banana & choc chip muffins.
These are all that's left after the kids got into them. The recipe says it makes 12 muffins but i found the batter makes about 18. Whilst they were cooking i made this
fruit salad chiffon pie. They don't make the pie shells the same shape they used to. The recipe used to fill 2 pies shells but now i'm also filling 2 ramekins with the leftover filling. Next up was a banana & pecan slice. I threw the extra choc chips left over from the banana muffins in as well.
Iced with a mocha icing. Just delicious. Couldn't decide on a final banana recipe so i asked the guinea pigs kids what they'd like. Banana bread was chosen.
I had some rhubarb that needed using up. I made an apple & rhubarb cake.
That lot ought to keep them happy for the week.  :)

Happy Stitching,

Reading through the great things you made makes me want to bake! Our new house has a convection oven so I must learn how to adjust my baking habits. Thanks for sharing the goodness with pictures.
