My Friday night solely consisted of this
It took hours with all the pieces needing to be embroidered, sequins/beads added then sewn onto each other. It was getting towards midnight when i was finishing the wheels. Check pattern & discovered they were supposed to be stuffed. Oopsie mine aren't but by then i didn't care. I just wanted the train finished. I only have candy pieces to go & then i can start the wreath.
The snow flakes were finished earlier in the week. They took ages too.
Pop on over to our lovely hostess Cheryll's blog for links to find out what the other lovely ladies got up to last night.
Happy Stitching,

These are both beautiful Jeanette. I can understand why they would take so much time. I used to dance, as in oldtime, and used to sew all my ball gowns and sequins and beads in the 1000s. Sadly there are no digi pics of them but I did really enjoy the process.
such sweet decoration items... they do look a lot of work but it will be worth it ...

Hello Jeanette,
There is so much detail in the designs for this wreath. I hope you leave it out all year round for people to admire.
Happy days.
Bev.

You did great to make that train in one evening. There's a lot of work in it. Worth it though... it's gorgeous. So are the snowflakes. Happy Easter...xxx
so much work on those tiny decorations. they look gorgeous.
great work on your NJ blocks too.
Wow! Jeanette, that train is amazing! You are so clever.
From here it doesn't seem to matter if the wheels are stuffed or not - they look great anyway.
Those are just adorable, Jeanette, they look fiddly but you did a wonderful job!
