Zooooom........

Yesterday Chookyblue invited us to a quick Zoom. I was at the shops when i saw the message so i quickly grabbed my coffee & vanilla slice & hurried home as quick as i could (i was walking) as i didn't want to miss anything :) lol.

I only managed to get 1 rosette done

whilst chatting to these lovely ladies

Some left after this photo & others popped in.

2 more rosettes were made last night

I have 6 full rosettes to make but i'm short 20 hexagons for 3 of those & quite a few small triangles. When i make those up i'll count what i need for the fillers & get them made up also. Then it will be a case of tracking down where i put the red fabric for the large triangles & making those up.

 Binge watching Discovery(star trek) on Paramount+ & a quick Zoom with Chookyblue resulted in 6 rosettes for my quilt. I counted up the hexies i'd made last week & found i'm short 17 for the rosettes. Once i get those done i'll need to figure out the fillers for the sides.

FNSI August

 Oh dear how did it get to be nearly the end of August already. As usual when signing up for FNSI hosted by Wendy i had plans. :) But as usual a spanner was thrown into the works. I had one of my very (these days)  random migraines. 

I sat up for a little while in the evening & put together these little 1" triangles

They are for this project

Sorry it's a sideways shot. The unfilled spots are the sides. Anyway i thought i'd made enough flowers but i changed how i wanted to sew them together. I need to make enough to add another 3 or 4 rows & fill in the sides.

Christmas hangings

 This afternoon i found some sewjo to put my hanging together that needed to have some of blocks restitched due to me cutting them the wrong size when trimming. 

 

Ta da one top ready to quilt. Not sure how i'll do that yet though.

Whilst in the mood for sewing i put the borders on this little hanging i stitched recently.

 

Both are Fig 'n' Berry Creations designs. Number one Christmas Necessities, number 2 Jingle All The Way.

FNwF August

Due to my excitement of having a Zoom meet this morning i forgot to take a photo of last nights stitching. I picked up my project to work on today & after quite a bit of stitching remembered about the photo. LOL

I managed to stitch the 2nd little house last night.

Since i took this photo i'm up to the last house & have the roof done. Block 7 of  24 from Redwork Christmas by Fig n Berry designs. I really don't think the project will be done by this Christmas either. :)
