FNSI & a finish.
I started my FNSI off early. I prepared the fabrics for Goodnight Irene. A sew a long run by Terry.
Fortunately for me a lot of the 2-1/2" squares had been already cut out. :) Next up was choosing fabrics for Gail's new BOM A Merry Christmas Garden. I had a hard time choosing some of the fabrics. I walked away for a few hours thinking on them & decided that they would work. Means using stash fabric rather than buying any which make me happy.
By night time i was ready to quietly sit & stitch,
I did the embroidery on these from Michele's BOM Fellowship Of The Flowers. They need to have beads & sparkly wool added yet. I'm trying to find sparkly wool similar to what Michele has used . Lastly i moved onto block 6 of Tail Feathers, a BOM put out a few years back by Natalie of Cinderberry Stitches.
& my finish
To sew what the other ladies got up to pop over here & visit our lovely host.

Swap Gifts For Me. :)
Just before Christmas the last parcel in the fat 1/4 birthday swap arrived. Tarnyia spoilt me for sure.
Gorgeous fat 1/4's & yummy chocolates. Thankyou Tarnyia & Maree who ran the swap.
This beautiful table topper was from Lyn(no blog) in Mrs Martin's Lets Celebrate swap.
These beautiful gifts were from Lyn also. I had lots of fun with this swap & received many lovely gifts from Lyn. These lovely gifts were from Janet in our 6 item swap also run by Maree. This was the "under the tree parcel". Spoilt by Janet. :)
& these fabulous goodies were sent to me by Diane in Chookyblue's SSCS swap. Again i've been spoilt with lots of wonderful goodies. Thanks to all the swap organisers you all do a wonderful job. Thankyou also to my swap partners. I love all the goodies i received throughout the year & at Christmas.

A Finish & Gifts
For many years i had a cross stitch Christmas card & every year i never seemed to get around to stitching it. This year is the year i decided & i'm pleased to say it's done. :)
I've heard from Lyn(no blog), my partner is Mrs Martin's Lets Celebrate swap that she has opened her Christmas gifts. I sent her
a table runner,
hand towels & these gifts here.

Santa Sack
Yesterday was the day Cheryll picked for opening our Santa Sacks. I normally wait until Christmas but this year went ahead with the opening.
in the sack i found a holder for my scissors & little matching bag, a block roll, cross-stitch book mark, cute pincushion done in felt & a stuffed Christmas tree.
This is the outside of the block roll. Thanks Jan(no blog) for my lovely gifts. Thankyou Cheryll for running the Santa Sack again this year.

1 Xmas Item
The last 2 things made for this years 1 Xmas item hosted by Narelle. Thankyou Narelle for hosting again again this year.
Didn't realise until i'd seen this photo that the camera was acting up again & i'd ended up with a blurry photo. I've given these away so i can't get a better photo now. :(
I'd stitched the little stitchery for another project which i decided not to make but it found a home on this bon bon.
