finishes & things

During the week i worked on the robes i mentioned cutting out in the previous post. I got all 3 done in time to hand them to the people wanting them.
Not hard to make just time consuming. Saturday i went on a day trip out to to Toogoolawah. Our patchwork group was meeting up in the backyard of a member of the Toogoolawah patchwork group. A very lovely day out despite the freezing wind. One of the ladies had a trailor full of patchwork goodies to look at. I picked up a couple of gadgets & buttons.
After lunch we all then went to a patchwork shop in a shed on someone's property.  All i bought there were some boxes for my DMC threads. Sunday back to cooking. :)
Lumberjack cake,
fantail muffins,
Tim Tam balls. So yummy. Today i finally finished my runner which was supposed to be done for 1 Xmas item a month. Better late than never.
Pattern by Gail Pan.

Happy Stitching,

  10. Hi Jeanette! Love your name and it just happens to be mine too and it's even spelled the same! I'm your newest follower and I have to ask - what's a lumberjack cake? Love your runner. I have Christmas place mats that I started several years ago, maybe I should drag them out and finally finish them up!
