I started to stitch this topper last year but like all things it was pushed aside. It finally made its way back to being a priority to finish. I did leave something off - the satin stitched ribbons, mine are just back stitched. As lovely as it looked on Leannes i knew i'd never finish if i did the satin stitch.

PS ... I am doing similar work by Rosalie quinlan and also leaving out the satin stitch for the same reason!

ReplyDeleteha ha - glad I'm not the only one avoiding satin stitch - and it catches easily too...(that's my excuse). Its a lovely pattern - well done.
