Friday Night Sew In

I joined our lovely hostess Wendy for FNSI last night. I didn't get a lot done as whilst one part of my shoulder has healed i've now developed another problem with the same shoulder which makes it hard to do anything. I did start a new project last night however.
Couldn't resist this cute ornie pattern.

Not a lot of sewing this week for the above reason. I'll have to bit the bullet though this week as i've a lot of sewing to do. Painkillers & i will be best friends methinks. :) I did finish the embroidery on this stitchery
Put this finished stitchery over canvas after i finally tracked one down of the right width
i also started this little gingie
& lastly i'll leave you with this
a gorgeous 1st rose from my SASR rose Golden Jubilee.

Pop over here to find links to see what other lovely people got up to last night with there projects.

Happy Stitching,

Cute ornie pattern :) So great you found the right size canvas, the block looks great! Hope your new shoulder issue resolves itself kindly, and the painkillers get you through comfortably in the mean time :)

It's fun to start a new embroidery, isn't it? I just did that myself this week and I'm itching to get back to it... after I catch up on some sewing. I'm very sorry to hear about your shoulder problem. Hope the drugs help a little to get you back to your usual busy self.

Its so hard not to do some sewing when you're in pain but take a rest, let your shoulder heal then you can go full pelt at it and catch up. Love your rose - isnt spring wonderful.

Lots of lovely stitching Jeanette... you are super busy. I agree with Dawn here... rest and let your shoulder heal. You'll make more progress in the long run. Take care.... xxx

#4 Chookshed Stitchers Challenge.

At the start of March i had this pile of blocks. I couldn't get my head around how to turn all these differing block sizes into a quilt...
