Friday Night with Friends March

Last night I joined in FNwF hosted by our lovely Cheryll. Thankyou for having us Cheryll.

My project of choice was from a collection of stitcheries given for free once a week I think it was on a blog back in 2008.

I had collected fabric when the patterns were given to us to go with it thinking I'd stitch in a plum colour but when I got the patterns out last year to trace i didn't like my fabric choices. So redwork it is. 😊😊. As there wasn't a finishing pattern sashings & borders were left up to us so now I'll be looking at ideas as I stitch & hope I can use fabrics from my stash to put it together.

Pop over to Cheryll's blog to find out who joined in & what projects they worked on.

Happy Stitching,

Pinterest is always good for inspiration - if you have time that is. Pretty stitchery.

#4 Chookshed Stitchers Challenge.

At the start of March i had this pile of blocks. I couldn't get my head around how to turn all these differing block sizes into a quilt...
