The things you find.....

when cleaning & sorting through all your patchwork/quilting things. :)

I'm not sure how old these blocks are but they were a freebie bom/bow maybe between 15 to 20 years ago. :). i hadn't a clue what i was going to make with them, i just put them on my cutting table with the intention of finally getting them out of the ufo pile.

This morning as i was laying them out & choosing fabric to go with them i decided on a simple table mat rather than a hanging.

One of my numbers for the Chookshed Stitchers Challenge is to quilt up a collection of small ufo tops so i will add this to my little pile. :)

Happy Stitching,

How good to finally use them. I made the butterfly block back then, but didn’t like the colours for the project I had in mind, so made it again for my sewing machine cover. I then used the original in a sewing kit cover for a swap. I really liked the design.

Great way to use them up. They look familiar, I'm sure I didn't make any of them but I must have considered it. LOL
