FNwF May

An early start saw the making of the green blocks for RSC. I'd cut them out Thursday afternoon so i could get stuck right in. :)

the easy block first, potato chip. :)
then the fiddly buttons
followed by the kites.

The evening saw me finishing the last 2 blocks of the Beanie stitcheries. Yay finally all 42 are done. I can concentrate on Owl & Hare hollow hand work now. :)
the one on the left just needed the satin stitch done & both blocks needed the beanies stitched.

Thanks Cheryll for hosting last night.

Happy Stitching,

You’re off to a flying start this month. That gives you plenty of time to work on your Chookshed Challenge. Have fun.

I love the blocks you have chosen for your RSC this year. The buttons and the potato chips are both ones on my to-do list (one day!!)

Those embroidered blocks are super cute. Your green blocks look great. Are you paper piecing the kite blocks? I bought papers from the Fat Quarter Shop and have pulled some fabrics to make some.
