Plodding along with Lucy

I have the last 13 blocks prepped & have slowly been making them up.

another one in the works is almost done but all the previously made up white pieces were nearly all the same. I sewed on as many as i could & have spent the last few days making up more white pieces.
I'll be able to finish it tonight. :)

One hippie has flowered & i found another 2 spikes on bulbs in the same pot. You can see one just starting to open. Oh i just spotted a chook way over the back. :)
I was happy to see this orange one flowering this year
I thought Mum's mini rose was going to cark it. It was very straggly looking. I moved it to another spot which it must love as it has masses of new growth & a few flowers.
Happy Stitching,

Your blocks are looking good. Fancy that - a photo bombing chook! xx

I think choosing the fabric and prepping the pieces is the most time consuming part of the blocks. You will be flying through them now. I love seeing your flowers and it must be so satisfying seeing your Mum’s plants thrive.

I think the shite bits musts get a bit boring....but you are moving through it well.

Lovely when plants flower...especially the special ones.

Beautiful blocks. I think I can just see the green tips of my Hippas showing. We are a bit slower over here. LOL
