projects

Although i'm enjoying sewing the little hexie project i felt i needed a break to do something else. :)

The hexies so far. Fabric on left is for the next round.

I went looking in the kit box hoping i had something ready to go as i really didn't feel like doing any tracing or cutting. I found a pattern i'd bought several years back with a pre-printed panel. Perfect. Alas it was stitched with Cosmo threads so i had to spend quite a while finding DMC equivalents.
I'd noticed that the blood lilies had blooms starting to form & 2 had broken out
several more coming up in this pot.
only 1 in this pot.
The hydrangea has flowered & looking quite pretty.

Happy Stitching,

Your hexies look lovely Jeanette & gosh, your hydrangea is flowering away already! Mine are way behind. I love preprinted panels - they make it so much easier. xx

your project with mini hexies is looking great. Preprinted stitcheries are so handy. I am slowly moving over to Cosmo threads as my DMCs get used up... love those interesting flame plants
