reindeers

A while back Julie showed that she had made little reindeers with candy cane "horns" for her grandies. "Hmm good idea i might do that". What started out as 3 morphed into 6. My son met a lovely lady earlier this year who has a little girl. I showed him Julie's photo & said i would also make one for S. Well then he pipes up & says "do you have read felt" he loves red. Next thing i know he wants one. I said to him "what are you 5" :) :) He's in his 30's.  Now the total is 5. Asked my daughter would her step son H want one. He's 15 but didn't want him to feel left out or was he to old for such things, nope he'd love one. Now i'm at six. lol

So yesterday was the day of making them.

Some fun & games for sure & if i make them again i will be changing a few things in the way they are made.

I found a random bulb starting to flower the other day & yesterday it finally opened
I can't remember what they were in this pot. Then i spotted the achimenes are flowering
and Mum's mini rose has one lonely little bloom :)
Plants & flowers are managing to survive despsite the heat & storms which i'm pleased about.

Happy Stitching,
