Hexie Quilt.

I've been a little busy on the hand sewing front for a few weeks now trying to get a quilt top done. I posted 4 of the flowers in my last post. A lady had started making the quilt but has been unable to finish. I offered to help & discovered it was all hexagons, no machine sewing whatsoever. :) She hadn't made many flowers or butterflies so i had to cut out a lot of the flowers & tack them along with the making up.

So here is where i'm up to. I'm hoping to have it all done by Saturday next week. I really hope she likes what i have done. No pattern just an idea she thought of.
I have just one more row of flowers then 3 butterflies & grey hexagons are added to the top. After that it's the filler pieces.hexagons are 2" ones so they are a bit large & awkward to sew together.

Happy Stitching,
