FNSI May

The day started early for FNSI with me pulling out red, purple, pink & green fabrics to make cracker box blocks.

During a break i was reading blogs & Fiona posted about making bowl cosies. A good reminder that i'd been wanting to make some. Well 1 at least. :)

It won't win any prizes that's for sure. My machine did not like top stitching through all that thickness. Next time i'll follow the suggestion of making the wadding a wee bit smaller than the fabric. That suggestion should've been written at the top of the instructions not added in way at the bottom. :~

The evening saw me making another Lucy block.
Pop over here to see who joined in. Thankyou Wendy for hosting us again.

Happy Stitching,
