It's finished
After i finished the applique i was in 2 minds about the tea towel. With felt on the end it wouldn't be able to be used to dry dishes. :) A decoration it is & i have added the bells & a button to finish it off. It has sat for a few days whilst i looked for rusty bells. I was sure i'd bought some but as i couldn't find any i used shiny bells.

It looks great Jeanette - love the addition of the bells. I think it would make a great mat/runner under a display of Christmas items or you could just hang it on your oven handle for decoration at Christmas time. I always issue strict instructions in this house that the teatowel on the Oven door is NOT to be used. No one takes a scrap of notice of me 😉

love your festive tea towel! I have decoration only tea towels it's just a matter of making sure the male members of the family don't use them!
